Key difference: iPhone 5S is the latest smartphone by Apple. It features Apple OS 7 and is available in 3 colors: white, black and gold. The Lumia 1020 is the newest flagship phone by Nokia. It features a 41 MP camera and runs on Windows Mobile 8.
include("ad4th.php"); ?>iPhone 5S is the newest phone launched by Apple Inc. The phone was launched in September 2013 after weeks of speculation. Apple executives sought to do something new with this version, as the company’s latest releases had often been labeled as stale. iPhone 5 has been discontinued in light of the new release, however iPhone 4S will still be available in the market.
iPhone 5S has been launched in three variants: 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB; each of which are available in three colors: silver, space grey and gold.
The whole itself hasn’t changed much, the device itself retain the 4-inch retina screen and its thin and light body. However, additional features of the phone include a fingerprint identity sensor; a better and faster camera; an operating system built specifically for 64-bit; Sapphire crystal in the home button and protecting the iSight camera.
include("ad3rd.php"); ?>On July 23, 2013, Nokia announced the launch of its newest flagship phone, the Lumia 1020. The Lumia 1020 succeeds the Nokia 808 PureView. The device comes with a 32 GB internal memory and a 2GB RAM. It is run on Windows Mobile 8.
However, the most highlighted feature of the Lumia 1020 is the 41 MP camera with PureView technology. PureView utilizes a pixel oversampling technique, which reduces an image taken at full resolution into a lower resolution picture while maintaining a higher definition and light sensitivity. It also allows for lossless zoom.
Due to this the phone is marketed towards amateur photographers and shutterbugs. However, also because of the camera, the phone is classified as a niche device, which is why is pricier than most high-end smartphones. A camera case accessory for the phone is also available, which turns the phone into a point and shoot camera. The case also allows the phone to be attached to a tripod.
