Difference between Mineral Water and Natural Water

Key Difference: Mineral water is the water that contains minerals. The minerals can be added artificially or it can naturally be in the water. Natural water can be any water that is gotten from nature.

In humans, water is responsible for executing and helping in a number of body functions, which is why they should ensure that they are drinking water in sufficient quantities everyday. Nearly two thirds of land on earth is covered with water. It is tasteless, colorless, and odorless. It is mainly found in a liquid state; however it is also present in its solid and gaseous form. People use water for practically everything, cooking, cleaning, drinking, washing, bathing, etc. Even our bodies are significantly made up of water. Water is the most essential thing for everyone.

Mineral water is the water that contains minerals. The minerals can be added artificially or it can naturally be in the water. It is believed that water is gotten from a starting place (source) like lake, rivers, or wells are the only places where the rich minerals are available. Even water from other places is treated with minerals by artificially adding the nutrients in it. Mineral water is a good source of nutrients and it provides extra benefits during consumption. It does not give off any problems. It becomes expensive as the water undergoes many processes before it is bottled.

Natural water can be any water that is gotten from nature. It is the most important resource. It is often an important part of the natural wonders of the world. It can be surface water, ground water, etc. Surface water is the water that is found on the surface of the Earth; of which 3% is fresh water, which humans use for daily activities. Surface water includes water that is found in ponds, lakes, rivers, even oceans, streams etc. Ground water is water that has been seeped and stored into the ground. The taste and mineral content of spring water can vary considerably.

The minerals can be present in water from some of the parts from where one gets the water. Though, it is not necessary that in natural water, the minerals will be added. It can be used as regular water or normal water. In natural water, only the water is purified otherwise nothing is added. It is the same as it has been gotten from the source.
