Difference between Moto G and Moto X
Key difference: The phones Moto G and Moto X are both Motorola products. They both are Android phones with similar features, however the difference between the two phones is that Moto X is an upgraded version of Moto G.
include("ad4th.php"); ?>With a booming choice in mobiles, and a new smartphone being launched every other month, brands are having a hard time surviving the competition. But, Motorola seems to have hit the nail in the spot, by collaborating with Google to launch new smartphones. And, its latest launches Moto G and Moto X have taken the mobile market by a storm.
And, Bang!! Motorola is back with two great smartphones under the same family. Both phones are complete with amazing features in a good price range, but comparisons are to be drawn. Though, both phones are unique with their own features, there are quite a few differences between them. First is the price and the memory, where Moto G is priced at 12, 499 and 13, 999 for 8\16 GB versions respectively, while Moto X is priced at 23, 499 for 16GB version.
Also, Moto X (4.7 inches) comes with a 0.2 inches bigger screen than Moto G (4.5 inches). Though, both come with a same resolution, Moto G has a higher pixel density. Moreover, Moto G is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 graphics, while the Moto X is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Pro Snapdragon.
include("ad3rd.php"); ?>There is not much difference between their operating systems as both phones run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and are “guaranteed” to be upgraded from an older version to a newer version. Also, there is not much difference in design, though Moto X is slightly slimmer and lighter than Moto G. Another thing great about the two phones is their large internal storage capacity, where Moto G comes in two variants of 8GB and 16GB internal memories, the Moto X comes with16GB. Moreover, they have no expandable memory slots as Google is keen to steer users towards its cloud storage services.
Now in terms of Camera, Moto G comes with a 5 MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a front camera of 1.3MP that can record HD video of 720p@30fps, whereas Moto X comes with a 10MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera that can record a HD video of 1080p@30fps. So obviously, Moto X fares better than Moto G. To choose between the two is not easy, as it comes down to what a person is looking for. So if a person is looking for heavy-specifications on a low budget, Moto G is the phone to go too, and if he or she wants the ultimate user experience with active display and touchless control Moto X is the phone to spend the cash for.
