Difference between Pulsar 150 and Apache 160

Key Difference: Pulsar 150 is a model of motorcycle by the company named as Bajaj Auto. Apache 160 is a motorcycle made by the company known as TVS Motors. They both differ in various technical specifications like engine, dimensions, start type, etc.

Currently, Pulsar 150 is equipped with the patented technologies like DTS-I and Exhausttec of the company. It is one of the five variants of the Pulsar model. The original Pulsar had the 150 cc, air cooled, single cylinder, petrol and spark ignited four stroke engine. Since then, the model has gone through various upgradations. In 2005, the power output was increased to 13.5 hp (10.1 kW) @ 8500 rpm for the 150 cc model.

In 2009, the fourth upgraded version of the Pulsar 150 cc was released. It included an all black theme and tank scoops that were similar to those of Pulsar 200. In 2010, the company launched its UG 4.5 version. It included a clip on handlebars in the machine.

TVS Apache is a motorcycle that is available in three variants: Apache RTR 160 Hyper edge, Apache RTR 180, Apache RTR 180 ABS. RTR means Racing Throttle Response. This bike is special as it is the first bike in India that features a petal disc brake. Earlier, TVS was reduced to a brand associated with scooters, but now with the right break, TVS has been able to make a name in the motorcycle market with its Apache.

They differ in various aspects. Apache is a good option for people facing some height issues with the Pulsar. Apache is also lighter than the Pulsar. Lookwise, Pulsar seems to be better, whereas in case of handling speed, one is likely to prefer Apache. Some of the differences between the two are listed below:-
