Difference between Nokia Lumia 1020 and Samsung Galaxy S4
Key difference: The Lumia 1020 is the newest flagship phone by Nokia. It features a 41 MP camera and runs on Windows Mobile 8. Samsung Galaxy S4 is the flagship phone of the Samsung Corporation.
include("ad4th.php"); ?>On July 23, 2013, Nokia announced the launch of its newest flagship phone, the Lumia 1020. The Lumia 1020 succeeds the Nokia 808 PureView. The device comes with a 32 GB internal memory and a 2GB RAM. It is run on Windows Mobile 8.
However, the most highlighted feature of the Lumia 1020 is the 41 MP camera with PureView technology. PureView utilizes a pixel oversampling technique, which reduces an image taken at full resolution into a lower resolution picture while maintaining a higher definition and light sensitivity. It also allows for lossless zoom.
Due to this the phone is marketed towards amateur photographers and shutterbugs. However, also because of the camera, the phone is classified as a niche device, which is why is pricier than most high-end smartphones. A camera case accessory for the phone is also available, which turns the phone into a point and shoot camera. The case also allows the phone to be attached to a tripod.
include("ad3rd.php"); ?>After much anticipation, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S4, the successor to the very popular Samsung Galaxy S3. The new flagship phone boasts new features in a slightly smaller and sleeker design. The phone’s screen has been increased to a stunning almost 5 inches with only slight decrease in size of the phone. The screen is a full HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides a greater resolution of 1080 pixels, almost 441ppi density.
The phone is available with either the 1.6 GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 5 processor or the 1.9 GHz Snapdragon Fusion Pro quad-core processor, depending on the market. It is available with 16/32/64 GB internal capacity options and if that is not enough it can be upgraded by another 64 GB using the SD slot. The S4 comes with 2 GB RAM, which has become a norm for smartphones these days.
The phone was launched with some new features such as Air Wave, Smart Scroll and Smart Pause, as well as Group Play and Dual camera mode.
